Tea cup made from slightly speckled stoneware, painted and carved with a two-monkey design. The motif references the linking-monkeys game and serves as a quiet nod to my own slow return to using my arm through pottery, supported by the people around me.
The clay was carved to give a slightly raised effect, making the piece appear more earthen.
